PEMANFAATAN LAHAN PEKARANGAN RUMAH UNTUK BUDIDAYA TANAMAN STROBERI DI KELURAHAN BUGI KECAMATAN SORAWOLIO KOTA BAUBAU

Abstract

The purpose of the service is to provide an example to the community about the use of yard land for strawberry cultivation. This service was carried out in Bugi Village, Sorawolio District, Baubau City. The selection of Bugi Village as the location for service was because Bugi Village had good enviromental conditions for the growth of strawberry. Bugi Village had a cool enviromental conditions with an altitude of > 1000 masl. It was suitable for growing strawberry plants. this service was carried out through several stages, namely the site survey stage, the preparation stage and the stage of making a demonstration plot. The result of service indicated that the implementation of service activities was going well, where strawberry plants growth and produced optimally and showed the success of strawberry cultivation until hurvest. Enviromentally, the location of service was suitable for strawberry cultivation, and economically, the results of strawberry cultivation in the yard were profitable with a potential income of 2-3 million per harvest.
