Peran Model Project Based Learning Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Mahasiswa Tentang Permasalahan Lingkungan
Abstract
The current era of globalization is marked by rapid technological developments, massive information flows, and the complexity of global problems such as climate change, social conflict, and economic crises, the younger generation is required to have skills that are not only technical, but also cognitive and reflective. One of the cognitive skills that is very important and needed to understand these problems is critical thinking skills. One strategy that can be used to develop students' critical thinking skills is the application of project-based learning. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills through the project-based learning model. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at Buton Muslim University. The results showed that students' critical thinking skills increased by 47.25 through the application of the project-based learning model.
