Abstract

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat Desa Oneeha Kecamatan Tanggetada Kabupaten Kolaka sebelum dan sesudah berdirinya perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit PT. Damai Jaya Lestari. Penelitian ini digunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah penduduk asli Desa Oneeha yang telah tinggal sebelum beroperasinya perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit PT. Damai Jaya Lestari. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara acak dengan mengambil 50 penduduk atau 33 % dari 153 penduduk asli Desa Oneeha dengan keanekaragaman pekerjaan. Perubahan ekonomi masyarakat setelah berdirinya perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit PT. Damai Jaya Lestari telah mengalami perubahan dalam segi pendapatan baik dari sektor pertanian maupun non pertanian dikarenakan terbukanya peluang lapangan kerja baru.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the socio-economic conditions of the people of Oneeha Village, Tanggetada District, Kolaka Regency before and after the establishment of the oil palm plantation company PT. Peace Jaya Lestari. This research used descriptive analysis method. The population of this study were the natives of Oneeha Village who lived before the operation of the oil palm plantation company PT. Peace Jaya Lestari. The determination of the sample was carried out randomly by taking 50 residents or 33% of the 153 native residents of Oneeha Village with a variety of occupations. Changes in the community's economy after the establishment of the oil palm plantation company PT. Damai Jaya Lestari has experienced changes in terms of income from both the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors due to the opening of new job opportunities.
