Abstract

Phytochemical content or natural products can be defined as a heterogeneous group of natural metabolic products that are not essential for the vegetative growth of producing organisms, but are considered as differentiation compounds that provide adaptive roles. The most commonly known phytochemical content is divided into several compounds such as alkaloids, falfonoids, steroids, terpenoids, sapinin, tannins, and phenols. This study aims to identify the phytochemical compounds present in several types of medicinal plants.
